Snowflake Stitch Frames

If you have not watched Jill Foster's inspiration on the latest Penny Black holiday inspirationYouTube videos-you are missing out.  

I hopped over to 123 Stitch and put in an order after watching them all! Dangerous stuff ...

I tried my hand at a little water coloring using my Tombow pens. I like some of what I made and some of it was yuck...just shows me just how skilled those creators really are. I'll keep practicing though.  I used my new dies and stamped the sentiment with my old SU! red stamp pad I grabbed from home the other day. I wish I had all my crafty stuff with me but hey, I got plenty with me here at my Dad's house. 

I water colored the holly flourish die-cut out of Bristol Smooth Water Color paper as well as using the same Bristol for the frame die and used some pretty red Bazzill paper for the red card base. The snowflake frame is mounted on dimensional tape and I just tucked in the holly here and there  and stamped my sentiment.  I had a cute critter I was going to pop on but decided I liked the simple effect better.  You will see the critter soon enough!
