CATMAN

Isn't this little 'Catman' adorable? It is a stamp I have had for several years and have to use it at least once each Halloween. 

For this card I cut a Halloween House Scene with my Silhouette-resizing the file to fit a standard A2 card. I set the scene on top of a piece of  watercolor paper and lighty marked windows, pumpkin faces etc and colored each spot with copics. I then got out my little Prang 16 count watercolor palette. I made a few marks where I needed to paint the sky areas-giving it a spooky feel. 

I colored the 'Catman' with copics, cut it out with my Scan n Cut and added it to the spooky scene with an action wobbler. Love giving this little kitty a reason to do a little spooky dance!

I love this cute little kitty all ready for the big Halloween night!  I used quite a few different stamps to make this scene-but this little Catman is front and center!

I stamped Catman and then masked it and stamped the brick background (Impression Obsession) with some grey ink.  The sentiment is from a Mama Elephant Bootastic Halloween set.  The little candy corns were from some old Studio G stamp set. The background paper is from Echo Park Apothecary Emporium.

The image panel is mounted on foam tape for a bit of dimension.

Yes, it is getting to be that time of the year!

Fall is just around the corner and that means time to pull out the Halloween stamps! This little trick or treater makes me smile!

When I first started stamping, I always used a sketch-it helped me balance my cards and I didn't have to think so hard LOL. It was fun to play with a sketch again. 

I colored this PB kitty and paired him up with some fun punkin' paper and spiderweb.

Too Cute To Spook 

Welcome to our midway inspiration for October! 

I seem to use this Catman  almost every year!  It's so cute and one of my favorites. I certainly have gotten my money's worth!

I used a Silhouette cut file named Boho Rattan Wicker Arch Frame for the card base. I resized the file to fit the kitty image and then cut two pieces for the orange card base. I thought it looked a bit like a scary gothic doorway!

The sentiment is from a small Lawn Fawn set named Trick or Treat. I also cut a few bats to add around the cat.

Darn I see I didnt color the punkin stem...I will do that before I mail it.

I masked off the kitty and then blended distress oxide inks over the various masks that I had cut with my Silhouette machine. I'm loving that moon mask. Looks spooky!  I added an evergreen tree off to the side and a bit of spiky grass along the bottom. I white embossed the sentiments.  To top it off I added Wink of Stella over the moon. 

I cut the grass and moon stencil from files I purchased from the Silhouette Store, using masking paper.  Sentiment is from the Lawn Fawn Critters in Costume stamp set. (The Critters stamp set is no longer available)

I am so excited to be joining the  Penny Black Saturday Challenge Team!!!! This is a once a month challenge using your favorite Penny Black Stamps! You all know how I love cute stamps and I am so excited to share my "ahem" large collection of PB's with you all!  LOL I do hope you will join in the fun!

For today's card, I used a freebie Pumpkin House  cut file from Too Cute by Jessica and added 2 different Penny Black stamps to complete this fun little Halloween scene!(see links below). I cut 2 'punkins' and glued them together to make the card open up-and added the black fence inside.
