Hello! About once a month you will see a short little assembly tutorial for Lori Whitlock cut files here on my blog.
Here we go!
I wanted to show you how I put together this Shadow Box Card. I'm making this golf themed card as a Thank You for my son-in-law. He's celebrating the end of tax season (he's a CPA) and can't wait to hit the fairways! The addition of the sun on this card is my wishful thinking for warmer weather...it is unseasonably cold here.
Shadow Box Card Golf Cart (SVG, Silhouette)
This is a good size card-it folds down to fit in a 5 x7 envelope. There are many pieces but it assembles very quickly. FYI- You will need two 12 x 12 pieces of white cardstock for the main working panels of the card.
This is the two main frame pieces. The slots will be on either side of the card.
Start by inserting the back panel in first, slightly bending the panel so that the top of the tab inserts into the side slit and then the bottom of the tab will follow easily.
I hope you will give this card a try-it was fun and easy to make. It would be perfect for any golfer in your life!

Wow this is creative love it x
I would be celebrating, too, if I was a CPA at the end of tax season. This 3D creation will give him an even bigger smile! You've done an excellent tutorial here, Sue. I saw that little painter's tape trick on a video recently and it's a game changer. Makes it so much easier when you don't have time to finish something right away. BTW, I hear you about this cold. We've had very few nice days since I don't know when.
