I am just loving these slimline cards. I can cut the base on my Silhouette and add fun little embellishments and still have room for more!
I cut the slimline card with my Silhouette cutting machine as well as the little get well embellishments. I made this for family- a 94 year old who just had his appendix out. You would think by the time you get to 94 you would be home free with your appendix! Poor guy was so sick until he had surgery. dxc He's doing well now though.
I kept the colors more "manly" instead of my usually bright colors.
I used this stamp for my card today:

Slim Layered Scalloped Panel Card-Suzanne Cannon
Get Well Pop Up Drawer Card-Lori Whitlock

aww what a cute card!! I am sorry your family member has been poorly, appendicitis is terrible and am sure he was feeling pretty rotten. Hope he makes a speedy recovery, am sure this card will cheer him up in the meantime :-)

This is so sweet!! Sure to make anyone feel better!
Your additions to this card are wonderful and enhance the mouse image perfectly. Love the colors. Hope your friend recovers quickly from his ordeal, I agree about thinking by the time one gets to be 94, appendix is the last thing you would worry about.....ugh!
Hugs

Dang, you never know when the ol' appendix is going to give out. I glad he's doing well now. Your darling, fun card was a bright spot in his day, I'm sure!
So cute.
