I made this card for a friend that broke her wrist a few weeks back. I colored it and then added the sentiment. Darned if I didn't get carried away and pushed the sentiment a bit too hard. Now... how to "disquise" the overly black sentiment. Hmmmm... I pulled up the image and matted it in black. Did you think it worked?

I think the sentiment works just fine and it's a darling card! The black mat was a good idea for tempering the bold sentiment. I'm sorry about your friend's broken wrist!
They are so cute and I'm sure the card was appreciated greatly. I looked and looked and I don't see anything wrong with the sentiment. I think it looks perfect and in place.
