Allison at Stampin When I Can sent this pretty RAK along with some wonderful blog candy I received from her. This card has glittery snow on the branches(hard to tell from this picture) Thanks to Allison for the blog candy.
On another note .......... If you are a stalker on Allison's blog (like I am), then you know Allison was expecting a baby towards mid to late January. She went into early labor and gave birth to a sweet Christmas present named Avery Judith. Shortly after birth, Avery developed complications (read here) and is scheduled for her second surgery in the next couple of days. Avery is stabilized at this time and has a wonderful cardiologist attending her. Please keep Avery, Allison and the rest of the family in your prayers.
I received this totally unexpected SCS Birthday RAK from Mary Anne Wood from Indiana. Thanks for the wonderful surprise Mary Anne! Inside it says "May your birthday be so special that you find yourself smiling about it long after it's over" Love the sentiment!
This sparkly creation came from Curt O'Brien and he's from Indiana too...hey, loved that state this week. All these cards arrived long after they were mailed. Because of the huge snowstorm, our town was isolated from food and mail deliveries from the big cities for at least 3 days! I don't ever recall that happening before.
I was admiring this card on his blog, Curt's World, when he originally posted it, so I was excited to get to see this beautiful sparkly number up close and personal LOL! The tree is embossed with a glittery gold and then has red shiny ornament stickers attached. It is matted on gold paper which was matted on silver again. Curt, thank you for sending this beauty to me!

Hi Sue, your RAKS are so beautiful, I bet you'll treasure them. Sounds like you've had a terrible time with all the snow but I loved all the pictures of your wonderful Christmassy house and the beautiful woodwork projects that you posted since I last visited. I've been to Allison's blog too and left a comment for little Avery, keeping them all in my thoughts. You asked about the digital downloads and printing the images. After you pay for your image you're sent a link by email which you click on to download. Save the image to disk (I usally save to my desktop) and it's often a zip file when there are multiple images. Unzip the file and then import the image you want to use into a graphics program. I then print it out and leave it dry for an hour or so (this helps the printer ink not to bleed when you water colour), so you just use your usual printer. Hope that helps Sue and hopefully I haven't over explained stuff you already know LOL! I do love the downloads and am very much enjoying being able to re-size them etc. Hugs, Chris
Thank you for sharing these wonderful cards, Sue!
