A "manly" birthday card! These are the hardest to make, but I happened upon this week's challenge at Clean and Simple FTL 86 sketch challenge and thought it would be perfect. The card base is Chocolate Chip and then matted on Old Olive. I found my most "manliest" paper...some great Basic Grey, added a little Martha grass, a couple pieces of hardware, and the little Stampin Up sentiment. Inside the card there is more Martha grass with a lawn mower stamped by the rest of the sentiment "and many mower...." Perfect for the man that loves yardwork!(yes they exist!)
Gwamma has been gone visiting the boys! Look at this little chunk Luke (formerly known as Woot!) He is 2 months old now and weighs in at a wee 15.4lbs! Oh my gosh...I think he is now on a binky diet LOL! This is my oldest daughter Erin. Such a good mama!
And this handsome dude (Cole) is modeling Gwamma's shoes. He says they keep his feet warm when he is playing basketball! We played and played for 2 days. His mama went back to work this week so the grandparents are taking kid duty for a few weeks to help her ease back into the swing of things!
I hope to find time to post for WOYW?W tomorrow!
I love your card...great job! And those grandkids...ADORABLE!
ReplyDeleteHa ha...look at that chunk! He is huge! Ave is only 21 lbs. (if she's lucky!).

ReplyDeleteYour card is really wonderful. I just love the circle clip on the bottom. I never have got the hang of how put those on a card! Sweet photos - beautiful daughter. She's blessed to have you close enough to help.
ReplyDeleteGreat guy card, love the simplicity, should have took a pic of the inside, sounds cute!!
ReplyDeleteThose boys are so darn cute. Luke is quite the size, and simply beautiful. Cole is getting to be such a "big boy". They must love having you there with them.
