What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday?--- WOYWW? Penny Black Brown!

When I went upstairs to take a picture of my desk for What's On Your Desk? Wednesday (WOYW?W)...I got sidetracked and  I decided to whip up this little gift card using the Penny Black Saturday Challenge #97 ...a monochromatic card in browns...a hard challenge so I stuck with a teeny card so as not to make my brain go tilt...call me a cheater LOL!
Card uses Penny Black Stay!!! stamp, SU choc chip and very vanilla paper with some misc brown gingham DP. Added some cute ribbon with paw prints for ease on tying this on to a little giftie!
In the first craftroom pic you can see my desk after making this card...and yes, my copics are back in the antique pop crate until I receive my new replacement holder that I showed you last week. Made me cry (sniff, sniff) to pack it up, but I will be happy to have it replaced. Sorry for the dark picture...a late night.

The second picture is taken from close to where I would sit, my left side storage. I know everyone loves all those fancy containers, but I LOVE my sets of rubbermaid type storage drawers. I have them all labeled and the top drawers hold my most used tools. I like everything at my fingertips.  This also makes for a quick and easy clean up. You can see in the last picture that the top drawer holds my ATG tape gun, the second drawer  holds my Making Memories mini trimmer, and the third drawer holds my clear blocks to use with unmounted stamps.Sitting on top of these units is stuff that  changes at times.  Today my precut Neenah paper and copic refills-a quick grab and I can stamp something up in a jiffy. Some of the other drawers hold bling -like pearls and crystals, brads, buttons, prisma pencils, SU markers, SU stamp cleaner, adhesives, my fave ink pads, and a misc drawer that includes my paper piercer, stamp a ma jig, sanding block, adhesive eraser and stuff like that...little messy stuff contained in a drawer! Here is a little better view of my stamp pad holder Joey. I tried to get a good pic, but I will have to try again in the daylight.Sorry! Hope you enjoyed this quick tour!
This is such a fun challenge...go take a peek and join their fun ..a great group of stampers(mostly from across the ocean)!

  25. You are the one who got me interested in this collaboration with that clever pop crate and now I'm so addicted, I can't believe it. I see the crate is back in use again until your sniff-sniff gets replaced. I am curious about the colors (color grid) on your desk in front of your markers. Are those the colors of Copic Markers you have? And are the blank ones on your Christmas list?

I really love your art space. Like you, I prefer clear to hidden. Looks like you have things within easy reach and have it organized by what works for you (which is the ONLY way to organize).

Sorry I'm so late getting here. I'm sure you saw, it's been a busy week at my blog. Hope you had a lovely WOYWW. Here's hoping your sniff-sniff gets replaced soon.

  29. What a fun little tag...I need to make some this weekend for T's thank-yous. I think crafters must single-handedly keep those plastic drawer manufacturers in business!
