House Mouse and Friends Monday Challenge
#436
Anything Goes
with the option theme of
In The Mood For Food
This cute image is one of the 4 newly released House Mouse Stamps! It comes with 3 sentiments!
Normally when I get a new stamp I will color it like suggested on the package. The card below is an example of that. I colored it with copics and cut window mats for it with my Silhouette. The celebrate sentiment was cut with my Silhouette as well.
The red card aboveis the second one I colored with my own color choices. I colored it with copics except I used a Spellbinder mini blending brush and Antique Linen Distress Oxide for the gold background. That was a lot easier than making a mask!

Your cards are so cute! I love the shape and saying on the first one and the pretty colors on the second one. Have a great week! xx

ReplyDeletetwo beautiful cards Sue.......gr karin
ReplyDeleteWell, gee, both cards are totally adorable, but I have to say that I like your own version the best! Love the colors and the design with the scalloped edge. That is definitely my favorite way to do a background these days, too. So much easier and quicker!
ReplyDeleteGreat to show the image on a card 2 ways in different colors. You have colored both very well. I really like your scalloped bottom card!
ReplyDeleteI like the card with the scallop bottom, it looks like the mouse and cake on a table with tablecloth cover. Beautiful colouring and great display of both versions.
ReplyDeleteBoth cards are fantastic I love how you colored both of them!
ReplyDeleteLove the shape of the top card, another shape to go to? Love your colouring on both, such beautiful and fun cards. x
ReplyDeleteI just colored this stamp up it was so fun. Will use it in the future.
ReplyDeleteLove both cards, coloring is awesome and love the scalloped bottom. Love a two-fer shows how different a card can be done.
Thanks for sharing them both, they are lovely.
Hugs
Sue

ReplyDeleteTwo fabulous cards! Love the unique shape on the first one!
ReplyDelete2 gorgeous cards Sue :-) both of them are beautiful! Fabulous coloring on both!
ReplyDeleteIt's funny that you normally color the first one like the packaging, I am the opposite and try to use different colors deliberately, maybe I should start doing that too! :-)
Hope all is OK with you
