Soup and Breadsticks!
I am tickled to be joining the team at Creations by AR. Today the team is having a BLOG HOP to show off the brand new Crafter's Apron file.
I really had every intention of making this fancy schmancy Christmas apron with candy canes and/or red and green M & M's, but darned if it just kept calling to me to make it a simple MAN project. I think this would be a great gifty to give to a guy, don't you?! Soo...I went with "man" colors and skipped the festive plans for this one...
I had the perfect dp from TCP, added some brown ribbon and then cut out the actual recipe from the soup mix box and tied it to the front. Really, really easy!
This file comes with an insert as well that holds tubes that you can fill with goodies.
You can find these at her store in clear , colored or oval should you want to use them with this file.
I am so busy this time of year, so it is important to me to be able to whip up a project quickly and have it look great. These really are quick and easy-and they look so professional!
And here is where "Christmasy" kicks in! LOL
I could not resist the urge to make something Christmasy for my second project!
I made this fun mitten mini album with the new Winter Mitten Set. If you size this mitten small, it makes a great little ornament for the tree, but I chose to increase the size (for both mittens together in SCAL I used 10.660 x 7.545 for the mittens and 4.223 x 3.813 for both cuffs cut together) to make a quick and easy mini album for my daughter and her new hubby. Now I am itching to make one for each of my grandsons too. Don't you think this would be cute to add their pictures, a Christmas list, maybe a Christmas tree or a hand drawn Santa picture....Lots of special memories can be shared in here!
I cut the sentiment in SCAL. I also used a cuttlebug folder on the cuffs, added a little doodling and chalk on the edges and for a final touch I added some pretty May Arts silk ribbon.
If you remember back last year at this time, I was honored to be a Guest Designer for Adela's Winter Release. You can see those creations HERE and HERE.
I love making projects with my Cricut and SCAL program so I am excited to get to join the team full time! It is so much fun to grab a cutting file and whip up a quick project.
You can literally put these files together in minutes! (They come in PDF files as well should you not have a cutting machine).
I hope you hop to all the teamies and see what they have whipped up! You just might be a winner! Each team member will be giving away a free Crafter's Apron template/file All you have to do is leave a comment on this post or any of the others by November 30th for a chance to win! Good Luck to you all!
ETA: Winner of my blog hop pick is Elena- The Red Haired Girl! Congrats Elena...I will send you the info.
Here is the order for the blog hop-Enjoy!!!

Seeing your tea cups, I think this would be a great holder for a bag of loose tea with a tea ball or other "device" used to hold the loose tea leaves.
