Sorry to have been MIA so long, but between all of the demands of the week, I have not had any time to stamp until tonight!
You can see here one of the first house mouse cards I ever created...back in 2002! Yes, I was a Mouse addict even way back then!
Allison and Sue at Every Thing Old Is New Again had a challenge last week to remake one of the first cards you ever posted to an online gallery. I posted this on my webshots site years ago! I remember being so excited about how cool this card turned out! LOL!!! I have used the same House Mouse stamp and the same background stamp in my remake. I am hoping you are at least thinking this is somewhat of an improvement!
Thanks Sue and Allison for such fun inspiration...sorry to be so late in playing along!
This is also just a wee reminder that the challenge at House Mouse and Friends Monday Challenge is Happy Birthday...you have until Monday to enter your creation and have an excellent chance to win a great House Mouse stamp too!
Now for a little bit of blog candy. I had a pile of goodies all ready for my 75,000 blog hits but that happened right when blogger was dropping everyone's comments. I have decided to break it up a little and give out some blog candy here and there over the next month.
Nothing required but to leave a quick comment here on this post. That's It!!! If you are a follower you will get and additional chance to win! Be sure to let me know if you are a follower. AND...if by chance you have played along with the HM&F's Monday Birthday Challenge I will give you a 3rd shot at winning.
This is not the actual Bow Easy, it is called Simple Bows, but it is exactly like a Bow Easy...I am also including a full roll of my fave 5/8 red satin Stampin' Up ribbon...(same red as used on the card above) You have until Monday, July 19th 12 noon PST to enter. This simple tool has turned in to a must have...I use it all the time!
Card details:
-------------------------
Stamps: Original Party Mouse (Monica) stamp from Stamp Rosa, sentiment from happy birthday set Stampin Up, misc party hat stamp
Cardstock: Real Red and Night of Navy-SU!

Gorgeous card Sue. A Great Remake.

Hi Sue, thanks for stopping by and visiting my blog. Well girl you sure have gotten better, not that there is anything wrong with your first card, but wowsers this little house mouse fella remake is adorable!
ReplyDeleteWowie, Sue, I would love your first card -- that is until I had seen your remake -- 'cause I love that one more you have come so far and definitely grown in the art of making beautiful things! And, yes, I am one of your followers - but alas, have not done a HM challenge for awhile.
ReplyDeleteThis is so gorgeos! Love the colors and House Mouse of course. Your remake is fab! Thank you for your lovely words on my blog. I have a translation botton now :-)Hugs, Bianca
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful happy card! Thanks for sharing. I would love a change for the blog candy. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteWoWzA, Sue, this is a fabulous "do-over!!" And I love the way you've colored this adorable image ... too cute!
ReplyDeleteFantastic card, Sue! I can't believe you have the Bow Easy in your blog candy. I got to use one on a crafting weekend in April and it's fantastic, but they don't sell them where I live and I haven't hunted one down on the internet yet. Whoever gets that prize will really enjoy it.
ReplyDeleteWay to go on your 75,000 blog hits! You're an inspiration!
Hugs from a follower,
Snoopy :D
