Featured stamper #178-Charlene Driggs

I made this card in honor of my good stampin bud Charlene Driggs.

Charlene (aka cookiebaker)  has been named the Featured Stamper #178 over at Splitcoast Stampers! Now how cool is that??? You must go visit her blog, Paper and Ink Playground.

I chose to case THIS card. Charlene is known for her fabulous clean and simple cards.(and they are not as easy as they appear either!)  I have never played along with the Featured Stamper Challenge before, so I hope I didn't mess it up!

I am so excited for you Charlene, sorry to be sliding in sideways on the last day, but I made it!

Card details:

-------------------------------

Stamps: Retired sentiment from Stampin Up, Simple Sayings
Cardstock: Choc Chip and Very Vanilla (SU!), Quite Contrary by My Minds Eye
Ink: Memento Cocoa
Misc: Martha Stewart border punch, Choc Chip satin ribbon and SU pink button

  6. Hey Sue! This is just too cure. Love that border you have!!

Thanks for visiting my blog. For the removal of my popcorn ceilings, you are right. Wet it down (big time) and wait 15 minutes, then wet again, then wait then scrap. Use a drop cloth and then bundle it up and throw away. It will be dirty, messy and very painful for your neck and arms. BUT due to the asbestos factor, having a contractor do it was NOT an option due to cost and can you say hazmat suits? As a homeowner, we can do these things ourselves.

    Hugs, michelle
