3 Clovers Thursday Challenge 41--So Thankful...Make a Thank You card

What has more red than Christmas?

Well, Elmo of course! If you have been a follower of my blog for a while, you know my grandson, Cole,  loves Elmo. I decide to make these little 3 x 3 thank you cards so that little Cole can send them out as Thank You's after Christmas.(maybe even one to Gwamma...)

Last week Kerry of 3 Clovers Thursday Challenge wrote about a card she was making. It started with something she was determined to use and her card took a life of its own around her obsession to use a certain image, product or paper. Wellllll........ I was determined to use my mega nesties(just had to have them...used them once) to make little cards this time around. Many moons ago, before I started blogging, I always made duplicates of my cards, so I decided late last night I would make a little set of cards. I forgot how much fun it is to line them all up and appreciate the fun of it all! What is it with that anyway...anyone else like to line up their cards???...I know I'm weird LOL!

I did a quick bit of  copic coloring,  but tried more for the Penny Black watercolor look instead of blending.

Okay back to this week's 3 Clover's Thursday Challenge #41...Thank You cards. What an appropriate day to show our Thanks! I hope you enjoy what the team has made for you today and can take the time to go peek at their creations.......... and maybe make one of your own to share! If you upload to SCS please use 3CTC41 or share directly on the blog entry.

I better get running and get my pies made tonight! I want to thank you all for visiting my blog. Thank you to those who take a few extra minutes to  leave comments, it always means so much! Thank you and Happy Thanksgiving to you all.

  6. Elmo has never looked finer. These are just the best and surely Gwamma will get one of these. What a thoughtful thing to do! And, please know you are not the only one who lines up cards -- me too! And, then I got to bed and wait for my dh to say Oh, and Ah in the a.m. over coffee. Hope you had a fab Thanksgiving.

Also think it's a very clever idea to make the little note cards for Cole to use as thank yous after Christmas! I would be thrilled to have you send me a couple stamped out Elmos. I can even send you the stamped and addressed envie if you would like. Thanks so much!
