Ahhh...it's time for another 3 Clover's Thursday Challenge. I love this Happy Hopper stamp, but boy was it time consuming to color...goodness! The finished card turned out so cute, so in the end...it was worth it! I was playing around with my 7 copics and I think I ended up using them all on this card plus my prisma's.
The challenge this week was that your card had to include FOOD! Now, that's not too hard for me...I love food! What better way to show off food than what I can only imagine a Bunny Barbeque would look like LOL!
I used my new nestability shape, which I found a wee bit hard to work around. I managed in the end to add a few of my little favorite carrots tied on the side to finish it off. I don't know who makes the carrot stamp, but I got it years ago at Auntie Amys Unconventional Unmounted Rubber Stamp Convention...oh the good ole' days! I remember tons of unmounted rubber in mounds on big tarps if you had the patience to pick through it all! That was before the days when I realized it was so important to document the makers of your stamps...live and learn!
The sentiment inside says "To my 24 "carrot" friend"

Your work is so impressive! I have an idea that you might try: Whenever I do a labor-intensive Copic Marker card, I scan my final stamped and colored image before I mount it - and I save it on my computer. Then when I want to make the card again, all I have to do is print one up. My scanner/printer (HP all-in-lone) is excellent - you can't tell the original from the copy -- and it saves me so much time!
ReplyDeleteYour coloring, as usual, is simply stellar! Love this image too! You are such an enabler! LOL Because of you, I now have over 30 HM/Gruffies/Happy Hopper stamps. And my collection is growing! Love them! Best, Curt
