Granny Linda makes some Easter cards

A bit of Silhouette fun!  I had my BFF Linda from Alaska visit several weeks ago for a few days. I waited until these projects were received before posting. I'm trying to encourage her to dig out her Silhouette machine (or maybe even update to a new one??). She made these fun cut files for her grandbabies. I helped her with my machine-needed to reintroduce the crafting bug in her!  Links below.

She chose colors that matched her grandsons new baseball team colors and added his jersey number. She added the baseball and mitt on the side panels. The mitt was a different file of which we resized for the box card panels and also made into a much larger baseball mitt Easter basket to go with this card. The sky panel on the back was stenciled.

Spring Has Sprung-Silhouette sentiment

She didn't worry about anything too fancy for her tiny granddaughter, just wanted something she might think was pretty and also would love giving the birdie kisses. We made a white panel for the back so Granny could write a message. We both decided this might last about 10 minutes in her little hands. You know how babies are!!!

A sweet little Easter box for her Granddaughter. I love this bunny file.

My friend and I had a fun day of crafting and I had fun reintroducing the Silhouette software to her.

Thanks for popping in today! 💕 Sue

  2. They're all so cute! It's a little too easy to drift away from crafting when you're not in the middle of it. Out of sight, out of mind. I would not want to lose this joy from my days. Gosh, that's kind of hard having your BFF all the way up in Alaska.
