Mid Way Reminder
Anything Goes!
I knew if I did not finish this card...I would loose all the parts and pieces I had ready to go. Of course, it was meant to be finished and sent last month, but hey, that's another story!
I was a little stumped on how to use this stamp set as the window has a row of bricks around it, but not enough to complete a background. What I did was cut the window out and drew in building siding to complete my scene...Worked pretty slick. I am pretty sure that trick was inspired by Sandy Allnock-she is amazing!
I also drew in the ground and added glitter to it. I finished off the scene with a fun lamp post that is included in this Winter Illumination stamp set, and several little critters from Holly Day Critters and Jolly Friends. Transparent sets are perfectly sized to add to little scenes like this!
I put this scene together and debated whether to add snow flakes or not...a lot of work if I didn't like it. I fretted for about a minute and just went with it LOL! I am glad I did. Stamped pieces were cut out with my ScanNCut2. Although I only use it to cut out stamps, it has more than endeared itself to me!
