Nature Themed Cards
Hello there everyone! It's been so long since I have blogged...Lots of life issues happening around the ole' homestead keeping me from crafting so I am having a hard time getting my mojo up and running again. It's a great thing that these challenges get me moving and stamping!
Today I am sharing my version of a nature card for the September Challenge. I don't have any PB 'nature' stamps so I chose to make a nature scene instead. Not cheatin' at all! To see some other great Nature cards, be sure to pop over to the challenge blog .
My little Penny Black critters are out for a winter play date-thrilled to be outside in nature's elements. (ahem...works for me :)) Really---It won't be long before it is snowing...
I used stamps from two different Transparent sets which are linked below. (Joy to the World (for the sentiment) and Jolly Friends for the critters.) The card base a snow scene from the Silhouette store. I used a needle threader to help get the twine through the little bell hook thingies ...a quick little trick that worked oh so slick.
Won't you pop in and join us in September?

Just precious! I understand being away from crafting and trying to get the mojo back...and then you (or at least "I") become overwhelmed as to where to start. I just picked up a snowflake pull card yesterday from Silhouette store. I need to pull out my house mouse. So many cute images and so little time...haha
ReplyDeleteA gorgeous card Sue. I love the scene you've created, perfect for our nature theme this month. You can't have 'nature' without a hedgy or two!

Fabulous Sue, totally wonderful design and love the images. Yes it will be snowing soon and I for one am not looking forward to it, but alas there is little I can do about it lol!Hope all is well with you!

It's adorable and I love it! Nothing gets you going like working with something cute and fun. Hope all is well.
ReplyDeleteSo adorable Sue! Makes me smile...the critters are so happy out in the cold! :D Love your super cute card!
ReplyDeleteWas revisiting and didn't realize the background was a cut file....very cool. I bought the Lawn Fawn snow backdrop and use white embossing powder. Ok....another for my wish list. Gotta spend that $25.
