Girly Shirley!



I just love this 'girly' Shirley cut file from My Scrap Chick! I can't wait to dress up her sisters, Goodness and Mercy too!

I made these for two very dear friends that had birthdays this week. Of course I had to use cherry papers since I work at a Cherry plant!

I made Shirley as a standing card by making a mirror of the front body piece and stapled the top at the head pieces, tucking it into her bonnet to hide the closure.   I did make two sets of leggies(doubling the legs for strength)-so that means I cut 8 legs. To finish Shirley off, I did a little chalking and added a few accents with a white Kirarina Wink pen. Her wing and sunflower are added with pop dots. Inside I used a Paper Smooches Hey Chickie sentiment and wrote Happy Birthday below that. 

This would make a darling Mother's Day card don't you think?
