Penny Black Saturday Challenge-Use Red or Hearts

Our February Challenge theme:

♥ ♥ Use Red and/or Hearts ♥ ♥

Well this was an easy challenge for me don't ya know?  I mean really???? RED?  My fave color for sure!

I decided to re-purpose this stamp into a Valentine image by not inking the butterflies and adding my own little heart butterflies instead.  I must say I think 'Henrietta' looks a little clueless looking the wrong way don't you?  The sentiment is computer generated with the font Curlz MT. I used pierced circle dies and a stitched square die made by Lawn Fawn.

I happened to be coloring this image when I saw a friend post the pic below of his pet hedgie-Henrietta! Isn't she just adorable?  Did you know there is actually a National Hedgehog Day?  Yep....there is...

February 2nd was  National Hedgehog Day and Henrietta could not be prouder!

Meet Henrietta!

A quick bio on our girl:
She lives in the luxury of her new home in Salem Oregon and is 5 years old! She is single and looking for love!  jk

  17. Seriously, Sue, do you have a pet hedgehog? Is there such a thing? Or are you coming up with your own version of a "Hammy" character? (It's funny because I don't know if you noticed that I named one of the Hammettes, "Henrietta!") In any event, I ADORE your red and white hedgie Valentine! It's one of my favorite images!! Enjoy your day!! Hugs, Darnell
