Penny Black December Saturday Challenge


Our January  theme :

Anything Goes


You are my Cup of Tea

Isn't this just a sweet  image! I used the Penny Black image Tea Cozy(1680J). I cut out the image with my Scan n Cut  and added it to this fun little 3D teapot gift box designed by Lori Whitlock --purchased  from the Silhouette Store. I did make one change and that was to add a white matting to the striped paper...offset at 0.05.
I can just imagine a fun tea party with one of these at each place setting. The teapot is super easy and fast to make and adds such a fun touch! Add in a few tea bags and a few sweets for a fun surprise. The box is 2.5 inches square so you can fit some good size teacakes inside!


The sentiment purchased from the Silhouette Store and recolored to match my project.  You can find the sentiment here. Designed by Kolette Hall.

    Wow! This is so cute! It's my cup of tea. Wish I was better at making time for things like this. I do have the occasional "tea party", but not the Silhouette. Being retired with a retired husband keeps me always on the go, it seems. Happy new year, Sue!
