#192
or Anything Goes
Welcome to the newest House Mouse and Friends Monday Challenge-April Showers...
Now I must confess...I had it in my mind that the challenge was Spring...so I guess this card will have to fall in to the Anything Goes category in the challenge this go round.
I have been waiting to color this image-it is so darned cute!!!! It did take a while to color it up though-lots of details! I did originally color the baby buggy a different color and I did not like it so I paper pieced the buggy with some Graphic 45 paper-and liked that much, much better! I made this into an easel card, using some little punched flowers to hold up the easel.
In the spring theme that I was going with...I had the perfect little Happy Spring stamp I had planned on using...a nice clear little Inky Antics stamp, but my oh my--it is stuck to something somewhere and not where it is suppose to be!
Here are the details for this challenge:
Eeeek!!

ReplyDeleteThis is just the cutest card ever! I love how you paper pieced the carriage and those little flowers as stoppers for the easel are such a perfect touch.

This sure is CUTE, Sue! The gingham paper pieced buggy is the first thing that caught my eye, so that turned out happy. Love the matching flowers and background, too. Maybe you'll find that spring stamp pretty soon and be able to add it. However, when I lose something it's always found in the least likely place when I don't need it. With or without the sentiment it is a most darling card!
ReplyDeleteWonderful spring card Sue, beautiful colours and a cute image, love the paper pieced pram (?)

Love the gingham paper pieced pram! And the coloring is awesome on this very sweet scene. I have the original stamp and they have updated it with the fence and flowers, so cute. What a nice job you did with it.

Still trying to get my body back to normal with new mess and catching up. That poor mommy pushing ALL those babies. The change of the buggy is wonderful and love the design paper. I received my 3 CD house mouse set. I have many stamps now but the digis are great. That is what I ordered with my win from the house mouse challenge. I now plan to catch up with some house mouse cards. I colored about 6 while feeling bad and now to put in a card creation. Thanks for the great inspiration.
ReplyDeleteone of the sweetest families I have ever seen - wonderful!!
