Inspiration Emporium November Challenge
and
Penny Black Saturday Challenge
Think Coats, Hats, Scarves & Gloves.
Wish You Weren't So Far Away!
I made this cute little Mimi Penny Black holiday card with some colorful Doodlebug 'frosty friends' designer papers. I love the change from the traditional red and green! I also used a pop out card cut file from the Silhouette Store designed by Lori Whitlock for my card base(you will most likely see more of these coming yout way-gotta love them). Below you can see how a picture of how the card looks if folded flat.
I added a Simon Says tilted banner and sentiment and a few punched snowflakes to top it all off.
I colored and cut out Mimi, adding her on top of the original stamped image. Before attaching Mimi, I added a blue chalk 'halo' around the bottom image and then stuck down the fussy cut Mimi!
This is how you fold it to fit into an envelope.
Here you can see the layers I added for dimension. 4 layers of presents!
I do hope you can join in the challenges above! I am always tickled to have you visit my little part of the blog world!
