Penny Black TLC Blocks Card

I colored up this darling little Penny Black image and made it into a card and thought to myself...UGLY layout....so....I set it aside until I was ready to start over LOL! I do that sometimes.

I pulled the whole thing all apart -- scrapped the card base and cut apart the image

Here is version #2!

I fussy cut the image and added it onto this really fun blocks card I have been wanting to make since I found this Youtube video!

I used this pretty pink and grey Fancy Pants Beloved 6x6 paper , and Penny Black T.L.C. image. Both are from Inspiration Emporium.

The hedgies are added on pop dots with a couple little heart sprigs and heart banners added for a little bit of extra 'sumthun, sumthun' in the background.  I forgot to take a picture of the back, but it has blocks of the Beloved paper on it too. You could easily decorate both sides!

You can look right through it!

I have used a 6x6 envelope and the card is actually about 4.5 x 5.5 ish I think...maybe not quite that big.

I hope you have enjoyed this fun fold Penny Black card today!

♥ Sue

  14. Holy cow! I thought this was already pretty amazing, and then I saw it fold down and fit into an envelope??? Whoa! I did not see that coming! So creative! The colors and adorable hedgehogs work so nicely together and I adore those heart twigs in the background. I also enjoyed your write-up and how you admitted that your layout was ugly at first and that you had to re-vamp. Glad I'm not the only one who has to go back to square one sometimes. I'm glad you didn't give up because this is a fabulous piece! Thank you so much for sharing it with us at the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge blog!
