I Be-Leaf In You! House Mouse and Friends Monday Challenge #153

Wheeeeee!!!!!

Hello Everyone! Yes, I am still around, just crazy busy getting lots of fun projects to show you later down the road!

Today House Mouse and Friends Monday Challenge will be showing off some great FALL creations with this challenge!

Our super talented Teamie HEATHER is hosting this Challenge and has chosen...

"AUTUMN LEAVES"

This image reminds me of the days when my kids used to play in big ole' piles of leaves!

I shuffled around all my pretty designer papers until I found this great MME fall designer paper. It has pretty golds, oranges, blacks and blues...a very pretty combo of colors.

I cut out the designer paper in a 5 inch square, and then cut  the leaf from the center of the square with my Silhouette. I made an orange leaf edging cut about 1/4 inch wide and glued it on top of the openingt(used the same square for matting too). I used the inset of the orange leaf cutout for the inside of my card. I added some MME enamel dots willy nilly and then finished it off with the perfect matching sentiment!  Hmmm...that all sounds confusing, but that's what I did LOL!

  13. How pretty with the cut out leaves as your frame, Sue! Even tho your card has pretty cards, and a delightful little HM critter to bring on the smiles, my very bestest favoritest part of your card is the skipping leaf on the sentiment! It makes me feel like dancing and swinging in circles! Just delightful! hugs, de
