Creations by AR Stars and Stripes June Release

Stars and Stripes!!!

Today we are showing you two new templates-and you can win one!

and

Okay here are the Details

Gourmet Take Out Box

I used a nice red cardstock for one  box and some pretty blue speckled cardstock for the second box.  I cut some stars with my silhouette and quickly glued the stars "willy nilly" around the boxes.  This box literally took about 10 minutes to cut, glue and add the stars! I can be somewhat pokey in fussing with templates, but this box truly is fuss free! I will fill them with this fun holiday popcorn... something I found on Pinterest!

Popcorn instructions
Pop some white popcorn and salt. (You can use a bag of microwave popcorn too...I think Orville has a white popcorn available.  Melt either some candy melts or almond bark in the microwave (About 1/4 of a package).
Spread the popped popcorn on a cookie sheet ( I use my silpat mat, but wax paper works too) Pour  the melted bark  on the popcorn and mix  it up a bit then sprinkle the fun little red and blue colored "doo dads" over the top-add a few M & M's if you want. . That's it. Very tasty...I was sampling while I was taking photos.  shhhhhh!

Bordered Box

This is a fun and versatile pattern. You can either cut it with borders of stars, diamonds or hearts. I used the star border, added some festive silver cording, a 4th of July greeting and some pretzel sticks dipped in almond bark and blue and red sprinkles.  Another simple project, perfect for a friend or coworker.
