What's On Your Workdesk? Wednesday!!! Julia's brainchild is celebrating it's 3rd anniversary!
I remember the first WOYW?Wednesday I joined in...April 7, 2010. This fun challenge had been going almost a year when I first joined in, and I quickly became a diehard fan of all the fun and friends I have made over the years. I had to quickly scroll through all 92 WOYWW posts to get to the beginning...here is what my desk looked like 2+ years ago on my very first post with Julia...oh the evolution of crafty spaces!

I showed this desk to Mrs Dunnit's on my first link up! My have things changed!
I even showed the silly side of stamping...being an airhead!
Here is where I stamp today...same room, different desk and surrounded by some of my favorite cards from my wonderful stamping friends worldwide! Isn't the internet a wonderful thing??!!

Gosh, I am not a tidy crafter.I sometimes have a tidy desk to start with, but within a frighteningly short space of time it's a mess again.Yes the Internet is a great place.

ReplyDeleteI own exactly 2 copic markers (for 3 years now)and 4 pantone ones. All rarely used. We all have "our thing" eh?
That is what is so great about this whole WOYWW thing isn't it? Not sure where we would be without it now!

ReplyDeleteI love 'before and after' shots!! It's funny how our tastes and thoughts evolve, isn't it? I've definitely changed a lot since I started sewing two years ago, both in fabrics and what I make with them!

The internet is a wonderful thing, more so when it unites crafting buddies and shares talent and inspiration across continents. They should put Julia in charge of the UN - she'd soon sort it all out.

It may be a different desk, but I remember the soda holder you were using to hold your copics while yours was being repaired or replaced. That's what kept me coming back, too. You joined just a few months before I did and it's great to see how your desk/room has evolved in that time. ReplyDeleteI do love these Wednesday posts wherever I run into them. They sometimes make me take another look at my desk -- possibly to clean it up, or sometimes just to go get creative. Your desk certainly looks tidy this week!

I rather like the newer desk version better though, love the inspiration being right there. I think I like your old Copic storage better just because it was so rustic looking.
