OWH mid week throw down

I made this card for Operation Write Home sketch challenge  #121 HERE.

The Operation Write Home (OWH)mid week thowdown  COLOR CHALLENGE is being sponsored this week by Great Impressions. It is a color challenge using bright pink, turquoise, purple and orange...cheerful tropical colors!  I used the cute little "potted kitty" and some bright Stampin Up papers.  I think this kitty might just be in a bit of trouble after digging up these pretty little flowers, but how could you be mad at an innocent face like that?

I thought the cards were suppose to be blank with no sentiment---, but I now believe I "thunk-ded" wrong and so I might add a Hello sentiment on the front to round it out before I send it off.  Sometimes my thinker is just not thinker-ing!

I got out some Martha Stewart and EK Success border punches and went a wee bit punch crazy! Just for fun! I used the swiss dots embossing folder for the white card base.

I hope you can hop over to check out the challenges at OWH this week(you might even win a prize!)

  16. Those various punched borders really add some punch to this cute and colorful card! I love the image, and it's OK if you send cards without sentiments - they use them with or without, but we always leave them blank inside :)
