WOYWW #142-Birthday and storage tip

Another Wednesday rolls around and it is time to hop over to Julia's house and check out  everyone's What's On Your Workdesk? Wednesday post.

Today I gave this fun Art Impressions card to my life long friend Charla-now that she is 29 and caught up with me (yeah right)  Both of us are life time Weight Watchers members so I knew she would appreciate this sentiment!  She's the blondie all spiffed up and I am wearing the green dress LOL!  Happy Birthday dear friend!

Here's my desk...yep, all cleaned up and ready to get messy again...never takes long. You can see my plastic shoe box of 6x6 designer paper pads.  Peek below to see how I have organized them.

I put them all in this cheapo clear shoe box container. Looks like I need box 2!
A while back one of the stamp companies had their teamies show how they store their paper. This is a tip I picked up from them...I think it was the My Favorite Things Team....I will have to check on that.
They tape a 6 inch envelope on the back of the paper pad and slip in the bits and pieces left after they use a full sheet. So nifty! Being a hoarder, I can never throw away little pieces, so this has saved my sanity LOL!

If your paper pad comes apart, add one of those paper clips to hold it together and carry on...

And looky at these cute little easels and canvas's I bought for $1 each. Now I wish I had bought more...these will probably have my little grandson's on them in some manner....

That's it for this week! Hop over and say hello to Julia and the whole group of diehard fans! It is getting pretty big these days, but you can always pick and choose at random who you want to visit!

See all soon!

  6. What a great card. Funny while still being beautifully created. I arranged my dp just like that last November. It's so much easier to find pieces, now, instead of groping around in a file folder in my file cabinet.
