Tonight I am showing off a big pile of twine sitting on my desk. Yucky, frustrating, irritating.... I get so impatient I end up just pulling a piece and cutting it off. I found this great tip on pinterest! Wrap your twine around a clothes pin (bought the pins at The Dollar store ) When you finish wrapping the twine, tuck it into the "clamps" of the clothes pin and that will hold you twine or ribbon in place! I think it would be better to do this before you start pulling on the twine...too late for me LOL! This will be a perfect project while sitting and watching my favorite TV show!
If you have a few minutes, stop by Julia's Stamping Ground and take a tour of desks from around the world!
And...here I am skidding in sideways finishing my SFYYT (sketch for you to try-January 2012) over at Jen's i{heart}2stamp. The last day of challenge!
Thanks for popping in today and welcome to all my new followers! Wow-weeee!
I hope to show you some fun Valentines projects if I can find the time this week!

ReplyDeleteOh Yes, great idea. When crocheting I twirl it into a ball. With twine, your idea is much better...especially ribbon.
ReplyDeleteI like that peg idea, my bakers twine is on the old fashioned type pegs but that doesn't take care of the ends though. I've never been to Pinterest, I spend way too much time in front of a computer as it is! Very pretty card too.
