Welcome to another Outlines Monday Challenge...Today we are all about Friendly Fliers! Use a stamp that has butterflies, dragonflies, ladybugs or anything that flies!
I chose I-1143 Natures Fairies and did it up pretty with paper piecing! It looks time consuming, but really it was very quick! I am going to show you how I made this...sort of LOL! I started taking pictures of the process and then got a little side tracked, but you will get the basic idea....
I first stamped my image Natures Fairies I-1143
Stamped it again on Jillibean Soup Dutch Mustard DP-then cut out the flowers for paper piecing.
Added the BG000 blue halo around the flowers.
Glue on the paper piecing.
I used E31, 33 and 35 to color and dot the center of the flowers and YR20 to shadow the flower
.
I cut small pieces of the DP to ink and cut up for all the leaves. I also paper pieced the butterflies with a Bo Bunny polka dot paper. Oops...this is where I got lost in the whole process...must have been all those tiny little pieces driving me nutso!
Ta-DAhhhhhhh at least you can see the 3D butterflies in this picture. I added a fancy little Martha Stewart punched border and some shimmery Viva Decor Pearl Pen dots.
Please check out what the rest of the team has made for you today!
