Welcome to the Outlines Monday Blog Challenge!
On this card I used a sentiment from the Outlines Script set.(see a link to them below) and some gorgeous Outlines Swarovski Peridot crystals. (link below)
Swarovski Crystals are a new toy to me and boy am I hooked! They are so easy to use. When I first saw these itty bitty crystals, I thought NO WAY...but let me tell you...they are easier to use than packaged pearls...oh my I am so excited!!!
I used this fun goody below to pick up those itty bitty crystals-Picksey Pick-Ups.
They look like this...
inside...
I stabbed one of those little beeswax pellets with a tooth pick
I heated the wax a wee bit with my heat gun and molded it to more of a point.
I poured a few Swarovski crystals on a piece of paper (easy to pour them back in to the bag if you crease it)
I dotted the areas where I wanted the crystals to stick with liquid glue and then easily picked up a crystal with the wax and placed it in place. It literally takes a second or two.
I think this took me 6 seconds to do! LOL Very cool!
I was still not sure if they would stick so I let them set a few seconds and they were stuck for life!!
(Thanks Matt for taking pictures for Mama again! )
Here's a peek at our inspiration photo! Such pretty green!! This inspiration room was pretty formal, so I decided that I would follow that path.
Thanks for stopping by today!
