Outlines Polka Dot Challenge-Meet Felix!
Polka Dots everywhere! You all know I hardly ever make a card without polka dots somewhere! They are pretty much a staple in my crafting room! What could be easier for me than a POLKA DOT challenge over at the Outline's blog HERE!!!
Our family loves little froggies...we have a froggie piggy bank that has been in the family for probably 40+ years that could probably be friends with little Felix LOL!
I chose to float little Felix amidst all these fun polka dots! I colored him with copics and then gave him a few subtle polka dots(froggie freckles!) of his own with the copic blender pen. I made the lily pad with an oval nestie that I snipped a bit and then added some chalk for contrast. I made the willows with a thin strip of kraft and used my SU! window punch to make the top part of the willow. A little shading with copics and they were done!
I added two pieces of blue waves that I punched with a Fiskars wave punch at the bottom of the blue circle. For the base of the card I used kraft cardstock that was embossed with crisscrossing lines on my ScorePal. I finished it off with a little chocolate chip ribbon and it was finished...polka dots and all!
Please check out what the rest of the team has made for you today!
