A quick What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday!!! You can see my desk is still "pretty clean". I was happy to find some little felt flowers that my stamping friend Shirley had sent me a long time ago. I so wanted to use them on one of My Craft's Meow cards, but couldn't find them at the right time. They are found now! I also have some unmounted Rubbernecker old people stamps I borrowed and really need to get them back to Barb...(I promise to stamp them up this week Barb!) Still have not gotten to stamping up my new Peanuts stamps. I had lots of you ask where to find them. I purchased them from RK Stamps.
Today I have to show you the cutest darn project I just finished up. My son-in-law is having a birthday this week. He has just finished up "cop school" and is now a full fledged officer. I found these fun paper pieced cards/patterns for sale on Lynn Pratt's blog and just had to make this fun police card for him.
As I started putting this together, I thought...hmmm...this is cute.
Then I would add another piece. And I thought ....this is really cute!
Added another piece and thought, this is really, really cute...and then really, really, really cute...it just kept getting "funner" the more pieces I added! I don't know if you can tell, but the car pieces are on dimensionals to add even more fun to the card.
I can't wait to make the other vehicles...a school bus and a fire truck too! I have two school teachers in my family and 3 firemen in my sweeties family. Can't believe these patterns are so perfect !
Now didn't I tell you this was fun???
Hoped you enjoyed this fun card. It would be great to have you all join in Julia's fun this week as well. What is on your workdesk this week????
I love this! I'm sure your SIL will too. #4
