Multifold or a fun fold!
Welcome to the multifold challenge hosted by teamie Lorraine!Don't miss a chance to win 3 digi's from Di's Digi Downloads.
I have always loved fun fold cards, it just seems to add that special touch to a creation! This was a fast and easy fold to make as well. I did use a piece of 12 x 12 designer paper. (does not have to be double sided) I used a fairly thin piece because I was not sure how the folds would lie down. After I made this card , I think double sided and heavier paper would work just fine.
Cardstock was cut at 5 1/2 x 12 inches. I scored at 2 in, 4 in, 8 in, and 10inches. I picked a nestie (Label 1) that had a definite middle point to it so it was easy to place on the seam for centering and cutting. I placed the nestie where I wanted it and softly taped it into place on either side. I then untaped one side and opened up the center fold and cut one side. Closed the card back up, untaped the other side and cut the other side. You can see this better on the other pictures.
I used a little SU! punch(now retired-sorry) to make the little slits to thread the ribbon through. (but a little circle punch would work as well)
This is what it looks like.
Here it is opened so you can see the folds.
Hope you enjoyed this quick "How To" and try one of your own!
