Oh Charming Christmas tree-"Charms"!
The challenge this week is to use a charm on your creation. (now if you don't have a metal one, make one out of whatever makes you happy!) I happened to have this cute Santa hat...a gift from our blog Mom, America! She is also"thunk-ded" up challenge #84 as well! LOL. The sponsor of this challenge is Simon Says Stamp!
A stamp of your choice! What could be better!
I know everyone is busy this time of year, so I hope you can manage a little "me" time and join in.
This is my brand new stamp and sentiment that I just got in the mail! It is the House Mouse stamp of the month selection.
I paper pieced the presents. The one in his hand is 3D. I cut the sentiment with a nestie, added a few Martha punched ferns in the corner with some glitter dots, and tied on the fun little hat charm. I don't think about using charms very often, but I was challenged to add one on and am so glad I did. A fun little touch. I am not a great embellisher, I tend to go with clean and simple lines, so it was fun to add on this little do-dad!
Come join in the fun this week. I hope to start my Christmas cookie baking this week so stop by later this week to see what is cooking in the oven!
