WOYWW and Penny Black Saturday Challenge.

If you are looking for the Stamps and Smiles Day 3 post...click HERE!

I missed you all last week but managed to whip up a quick card for this week's Penny Black Saturday Challenge #115 (a sketch challenge)  and show you what's sitting on my desk for WOYWW? (Hey Heidi...that stands for What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday!) A fun challenge where a bunch of fun crafters of all kinds show what is sitting on their desk every Wednesday. Stop in and say hello to Julia if you get a chance!

and here is what I dug out from my Halloween inspiration. I have a big bin sitting on my desk today that holds a lot of Halloween stamps, ribbons, punches, papers  and various scary embellishments LOL! I pack it away after Halloween because of all the other babies stamps that need to be displayed.

Card details:

---------------------------

Stamps: Apprentice by Penny black, Haunted House by Studio G
Cardstock: SU Black, Lavender and Green
Ink: Memento Black and Copics, chalk

Misc: Oval nesties, spider buttons, Halloween ribbon, black pearls

  1. Oh, this is completely adorable and no patterned paper! You've inspired me because if you can believe it or not I have NO Halloween patterned paper in my house and I need to make a couple of Halloween cards! :o)

  21. Hi Sue, Cinder toffee is like honeycomb sweets, recipe:
    http://uktv.co.uk/food/recipe/aid/534217

I make it in a silicon baking tray then it just pops right out so there's no faffing lining tins. You can put chocolate on it too - really dark chocolate works best so it's a contrast between the sweetness of the toffee. Great for Halloween treats. :)
