WOYWW? Beware...not for the faint of heart!

 This is not my workdesk....

...thank heavens! I spent the weekend with my daughter and her family--- This is HER workdesk....   Seems about 15 minutes before Gwamma arrived at his house...my grandson, Cole,  decided to craft a wee bit. He found a full bottle of black permanent ink and squirt it all over the table and then finished if off with a few pretty swirls green stickles.   I think he is going to inherit his Gwamma's craftiness, don't you? ( Now to see if the ink comes out of the carpet....think little inky footprints here!)   I think Cole  learned the words "OFF LIMITS" this day....ahhh to be 2 years old! Make sure to go visit the whole crew at What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday!

I think the touch of green stickles with pools of black ink was just a stroke of genius! Oh his poor Mama!

  2. Sorry to hear about your daughter's mess. If it's Staz-on, you can get it off with 91% alcohol.

Missed you last week. Glad to know you are OK.

  10. This is one desk where you just look at it and directly want to walk away and hope that it was all a dream.
This is a reason to keep your craftdoor locked!!!
I wish her all the luck with the cleaning up!!!

  14. LOL i first thought something happened to you, and your desk became a mess! LOL ... i remember 2 year old came to my place, with her mom who was my coworker back then, one day (Guam time). She found my markers and started to write on the floor, while we were chatting!! Something about the inks & little kids, i think!! LOL My case, it wasn't the PERMANENT ink! hyuuu...

  18. Oh,my! Poor Mama..when she comes to, tell her to get some "Capture". It's a pre-mist and dry carpet cleaner that's awesome! I've had ink on my carpet and it took it right out...not inky little feet prints though. You might give the Staz-on people a call..perhaps they have some ideas.

  23. Oh my goodness.....! (Sigh) "His poor mama" is right. I can't even imagine finding such a mess. At least she had the presence of mind to take pictures. Someday, a long time from now, they'll look at those and laugh.....probably. Love the touch with the Stickles - very creative. Perhaps I need to get a lock for my room in case Ethan gets any ideas.

  24. Oh (dear just doesn't seem strong enough somehow!)
As I'm assuming your grandson is still alive, I think your daughter must be a saint. I do think the swirls of stickles show his creative promise though lol!

  25. Sorry ...that brightened my day ...how do little ones create so much mess in a blink of an eye.
I still remember a friends 3 year old daughter managing to cover a very bemused long haired cat, in tomatoe sauce, in the time it took us to remove the lunch dishes to the kitchen.

  27. Hi Sue, I'm still trawling through the posts from WOYWW, a mammoth task these days ;-)
And there was I thinking oh well a lot of our desks look like that when we're in full swing, thinking the black bits were bits of card :-/
