What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday?--- WOYWW? Penny Black

A little Penny Black birthday card I made for a good bloggin friend!  (Hmmm.... I think this post is really just to show you my new punches)...I used a new Martha border punch on this card, and further down in the post is a sample of a couple new EK Success punches I just purchased. My little, itty bitty JoAnn's is actually stocking some neat EK punches...so excited to use my 50% coupons on these!

Oh...I was tickled to discover  that the large SU! oval punch fits perfectly in this name tag nestie!

DESK BEFORE:
Here is a pic of my desk for WOYWW? A fun challenge where all these crazy crafters show off their work desks every Wednesday. (What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday?) You must go visit Julia Dunnit's blog and join in the fun. You will make a lot of new friends too!

This week you can see the PB card I just finished, my new border punches in the bottom right corner, a Mo image I just printed for a Father's Day card in the upper right.  Also on the left I printed a copy of the retiring SU! colors and the new ones too. I want to buy some cardstock before the price goes up next month, so I am busy figuring out what I have in my stash. Also, if you look right in the middle of my grid paper, you will see a clear centering ruler...LOVE this and use it all the time. (Tom Holtz also makes one which I have too)  This type of ruler starts at zero in the middle so you can center any  project easily. So...if you see a project wayyyyy off center on my blog,  you will know I forgot to use this ruler!

DESK AFTER...a quick 2 minute clean up and I am ready to start working on my Father's Day cards tomorrow.

This is how I store some of my Stampin' Up punches. I am so glad they are changing the style of their punches in the next catalog, but the current style really is the easiest to use, but horrible for storage. I do like how the EK success punches just stack, but gosh, I always pinch my fingers with those darn things. Guess I will have to pay more attention you think?

Oh and here I was playing with a piece of scratch paper and thought I would show you the new chain punch  and the new swirl/flower border punch I just got...fun stuff!

  7. Wow, what a way to punch up your WOYWW post! Love the piece where you were testing them. I would love to use that piece in my art. I've never cared for EK punches. The one I had stopped working after three punches. It actually fell apart and the company would do NOTHING for me. I hope you've had better success.

I see you STILL don't have your new copic holder. What's the deal? Do you think they'll ever send a replacement? Happy WOYWW.
