Speaking of old things, I finally got my replacement copic holder, but was sad to not have my fun old pop crate, so I moved it right next to me and am still up in the air as what to put in it. Right now I have some SU punches, but would certainly love your suggestions!
my old pop crate needs a new purpose....and my fun garage sale items
A quick card I made tonight for my sweetie. My new Peanuts stamp...this stamp just looks like me with my hands on my hips when my sweetie watches wayyyy to much TV with my dog!You know how it feels like you are talking to wall sometimes??????
I used the sketch from Our Creative Corner Sketch Challenge #20 this week and kept it very simple ...ready for bed!
Card details:
-------------------------
Stamps: Watching TV FR1050, sentiment handwritten
Cardstock:Basic Grey-- max and whiskers DP along with a SU card base
Ink: Memento Black and Copics
Misc: Label 8 nestie, circle punches from SU, misc dog bone brad
Your copic holder was the FIRST thing I saw on your desk. Glad to see you finally got the replacement. You are up late. Of course, I had to stop by and see your fun garage sale finds. Happy WOYWW.
ReplyDeleteLovely bottles, what will you use them for?
ReplyDeleteMust say, the Copic holder is impressive!! Love the idea of your glitters and shinies being in those old shakers - they'llbe practical and gorgeous..perfect. As for the crate - I dunno....do you collect old bottles?!!!
ReplyDeleteLove your copic holder on the desk.Love your old holder housing your su punches .You could use to store clear stamps in and put all one type in one whole ect.just thought, but i do like your pnchesd in there.Maybe room for both.

My goal today is to have my work space look at least that neat by the time I'm finished with my reorganization! I have so much work to do....it may take two days!! Cute card and great little finds. Reminds me that there is a little church thrift shop that I need to go back and explore. Found lots of cool stuff, but not enough time to take a good look!!
ReplyDeleteLove that Copic holder and your new goodies too. What a fabulous workspace.
ReplyDeleteGreat card i love peanut things. Great desk too and love the idea of glitter in those jars. With the old storage piece can you fit distress inks in them? I use an old tea gift set box to store mine in.
ReplyDeleteLove the snoop Sue. Lots of luvverly things to see. Love the Peanuts card too. TFS. ~Glen~
ReplyDeleteooo fabby new pen storage, love that card, Snoopy is one of my all time faves.
ReplyDeleteAs for the crate, why dont you just decorate it and hang it on the wall, paper inside the cubes and stand little 3d embellies inside or little glass jars...Google 'printers trays' and see how they have been decorated. I am sure you could do your crate the same way.
Fabulous finds and that card is adorable!
ReplyDeleteLove the botttle holder I would paint in and make it shabby chic! and then you can decide what to put in it If you would like to know how to paint if just ask. Love the new copic holder It would make me buy more though, as I would have to fill it! ha ha
ReplyDeleteLove Dawn xx

Ok Sue, now you're just showing off with a photo of such a CLEAN working area! Mine should look this good when I clean! LOL Seriously, I love the old salt shakers for glitter and your collection of Copics. The card is adorable too!

ReplyDeleteHi Sue, love love love your little Peanuts card, I have always loved them since I was a girly! Great tidy area to work in, thanks for sharing! hugs Heidi xx
ReplyDeleteThe pop box has way more personality than the copic holder, that's just utilitarian and practical. Not sure what you could use it for though as from memory, you've got loads more punches than would actually fit in it! Can you hang it on the wall and fill it with little art treasures?
ReplyDeleteHugs
Brenda

ReplyDeleteLove your card! That is so funny. I do the same thing. I would probably put my ink pads in that unit or just a bunch of wood stamps. Love your vintage findings.
ReplyDeleteLove your copic container, it just glares at me!! I want one!! and of course your crate, now that's something I might have out in the garage somewhere, I'm sure someone had one last week, and I went looking but couldn't find it
