A quick card today using the Crazy 4 Challenges sketch. Quick and Easy....or so I thought...I wanted to make a couple of these to send out as they were so fast. I cut DP for 3 and went to sew on them and assemble and I could only find 2 of them...what the heck???! I hate it when I do bonehead things...I sewed two front panels together...goodness...what's a girl to do?.... Make 2.
What do you do when you make boo-boo's on your cards? I try to cover up the mistake or blotch and many times I like the finished piece better than my original idea...but sometimes there is just no covering up...Then I send it to my daughter...she always gets a kick out of my rejects...we used to send our rejects to each other and play Where's Waldo...can you spot the mistake sort of thing....
Okay, well I need to get on with finishing tax info and cleaning house today, but just had to get a little stamping in before I start the "unfun" stuff.
If you would like the "good card" I managed to complete, then leave me a comment here before midnight Sunday, March 28th and I will pick one person to mail this to Monday morning. (sorry without the M & M's- they jumped into my mouth)

This is sweet, Sue. I love the DP you used with it. I have yet to sew on any of my cards, but since I was big-time into sewing before, I guess it's time I give it a whirl. I love the look. I'd love to get this card, even without the M&M's. :)
ReplyDeleteADORABLE!!
ReplyDeleteI had to laugh at your error...........been there/done that!!! Ha! I don't feel so bad now :)

ReplyDeleteSue, this is the sweetest card! Oh how I would love to have some of that DSP... is it current? This particular color combo really catches my eye. AND, this only confirms that now I MUST have that Martha Stewart Grass Punch!!!!!
ReplyDeleteEaster sneaking up on me...I haven't even started! Thanks for reminding me I need to get to work! This is a lovely creation....love that you used bold colors rather than pastels!
ReplyDeleteLOL, yep, I try covering up my boo-boo's first.....otherwise, they go right in the trash can. :) I LOOVE that pretty DP you used!
ReplyDeleteYour Easter card is adorable!!! The colors and cute image are very sweet and I really like the flowered paper you used!
ReplyDeleteI usually try and cover my boo boo's or end up tearing my card apart to fix it.
First time visitor here. Found you from your comment on D Flanders blog.
ReplyDeleteYes I deffinately would like to win the card. I know several who would love to receive it in the mail. Probably an older mom and daughter 80's and late 60's who live together.

Funny about the stitching - glad to hear I'm not the only one who does things like that :)
The m&ms make a nice touch on your photo. I thought about you yesterday when I was thinking of making those m&m/pretzel/kiss candies with springtime colored m&ms :)
Sounds good right now! :)
I have it in my hot little hands! It's even more fabulous IRL. Thanks so much!
