How do you store it? Edition #1 Nestabilities storage

this how I label the outside for easy reference. As you can see...I got me some new babies...

This is a new feature I am going to try to find time to share each month...with your help of course! I have sooo much "stuff" I am always on the watch for how other crafters organize and store their " must have" supplies and "must have"stamps, tools and toys LOL!  Currently my craft room is in total disarray...I am  trying to fit in  my new toys (Cricut, DreamKuts) into a room that already seems to get smaller and smaller. Between stamping, sewing and woodcrafts, it tends to get a little cramped...and it's a good sized room! I think this really means I can be a little bit of a pig at times...I just want to stamp and not clean darn it!

Once a month (or so),  I hope to show you  how I store some of my supplies, with a few links to other storage solutions I have found online as well. I hope you will all jump in and share how you share your similar supplies as well as give me some suggestions on some solutions you would like to see. I will most certainly be pleading for help in a few areas too! I would love to include a link or picture of your organizing tips as well...I need intervention hehehe!

Without further ado...Edition #1 Nestabilites

I found these Quick Kutz Magnetic albums at Ellen Hutsons, LLC store. (cost 12.99 each) I think they can now be found at Cut at Home as well as a few other places I have found. I used to store my nesties in CD cases with a piece of magnet holding them from moving around, but found it frustrating to only be able to see one set at a time. With these books I can view  a complete circle set at a glance. I keep these books on the floor at my feet for quick access...I use my Nesties for almost every card!

These books have a pretty strong magnetic pull, so I have found that on some sets, if I add a little piece of ribbon through them, all I have to do is give the ribbon a tug and I can loosen the whole set enough to pick the specific nestie I want.

Here are some other fun storage solutions I have found while browsing the web. If you would like me to include a picture or link to your storage solution, just send me the info at susiespotless@yahoo.com.

  1. Fantastic post Sue! I love those magnetic folders and you've already made my day with that idea, I'll have to order some from Cut at Home. Currently mine are stored in DVD cases with magnetic strip, but it's not ideal. Looking forward to your next organisational post, this one was great. Hugs, Chris

  4. Hey Aunt Susie,
Thanks for the great storage solution!! I am going to have to get some of those folders! Can't wait to see how you store your copics! By the way...JoAnn's is carrying nestibilities now! Yeah!!! We have a superstore here in Vancouver, they are flying off the racks at 40% off. Unfortunately, the ones that I wanted were already taken. Next time!

  7. What a very nice thing for you to do! This was a lot of work to put this together, and it was very much appreciated. I store my nesties in cd cases so they fit in the cd case holder that also holds all of my rubber stamp sets. These binders are wonderful! Best, Curt
