House Mouse and Friends-3 Men And A Baby
I made this for the current House Mouse and Friends Monday Challenge #54...use a movie title as an inspiration for your challenge card. I chose Three Men and a Baby and used this darling little Happy Hopper for my "baby"!
You know those old sepia tone pictures that were then hand colored with very pastel colors? That is what this image reminds me of. I gave Itty Bit just a touch of pink on her nose and ears and a touch of blue on the rim of the baby bottle. Itty Bit is stamped in chocolate chip brown with no extra coloring on her body.
She is cut out with an oval nestie and matted several times, with teeny tiny brown pearls around the rim of the scalloped nestie. There are also so shiny brads in each corner. The inside says
'Congratulations on the birth of your beautiful baby'.
I am not sure if Itty Bit is a boy or girl bunny...but this is definitely a boy baby card!
ETA: Okay...Carol wants to know where I hid the THREE MEN! Don't tell her I sent them to her blog LOL! Silly girl....and I did add back on the missing brown pearl on this card...drives me nuts when I see this pic without the pearl! oh well...you get the idea LOL
Card details:

Oh My Gosh, this is so SO cute! I love the image and how you colored him, but I have one question for you - where are you hiding the 3 men???? *snort*
ReplyDeleteSo, so adorable!
ReplyDeleteOh love yours too. I just love these colors.... Great minds and all.
ReplyDeleteOkay, I have been looking for "the image" to make baby announcement cards for one of my BFFs...I think I have may just found it esp. since there is practically no coloring involved! And I love the idea of using that DP (which I have lots of!). Mwah...I have just kissed you in gratitude! Off to scout out that stamp!
ReplyDeletethis is so cute, looks great with the minimal colouring on the image too, this one's definately best left alone.
