Sesame Street Halloween Pop Up Card

This is the card closed...the paper clip is really NOT part of the card, but this spooky card would not cooperate standing up like this so it needed some help. If you look reallllllll close, you can see the spider web embossing on the base of the card. This is how it will look folded in the envelope.

You can see how this card stands up in this picture . I made it from this tutorial on SCS. My inspiration came from these two pop up cards on Curt's blog!

Now, I really don't think of pink and green as Halloween colors, but hey, a person has to be true to their Sesame Street characters...I wouldn't want Count Von Count mad at me!

I've been working on this card here and there as I had extra time, so it really doesn't seem like it took much time at all and it was a lot of fun to make. I absolutely love fun fold type cards. Nothing grabs my attention faster than some fancy folded card posted on a blog! I will have to make more of these! And of course, I couldn't wait to use my new Martha Stewart fence and bat punch. My sweet daughter picked them up in the big city for me! Thanks Erin!

I used a glitter pen to spruce up Mr. Booglie Ghost(oops I mean mummy!) also. You can't tell it in these pictures!

ETA:

Let me know if you make a pop up card and I will link here!
