I am a terrible 'doodler' so I just did the minimum I could on my card so you wouldn't call me a cheater LOL.
It's little Lukey's 13th birthday this week so this worked out well for me! Little Lukey is not so little anymore. The dang kid towers over his Gwamma at over 5 foot 10 inches. At this rate he will be 6 foot by this summer. He's always been a tall kid for his age.
He's such a kind and gentle boy and loves to craft with me. He loves arts and crafts as much as he loves basketball and soccer! I hope he doesn't grow out of that!
I used a Stampabilities oldie stamp named Mun-Cheese HMOR1149 for my card and couldn't find a link for it anywhere-but it is dated 2012 so that explains why. It's fun to go back and pull out classic House Mouse stamps. As much as I don't really like stamping with wood mount stamps anymore...I treasure my huge selection of House Mouse wood mounted stamps and especially love the ones made by Stampabilities because they had colored images on the top of the block.

Hi Sue - a fabulously creative way to add a doodle! What could be better than to get a card with someone's own message? Thanks for joining in, CarolG
ReplyDeleteI was shocked when I saw the message. 13!! I bet he'll always enjoy crafting with Gwamma. This HM image is so darn cute -- just like all of them. It's hard to think that 2012 is that long ago. I treasure all my wood block stamps. I think you did just the right amount of doodling. I would think the sentiment in your own handwriting qualifies as doodling, too. So there you go. Your coloring is always perfection. Love the stitchy frame, too.
ReplyDelete13!!! Luke was just a little guy when we started this HM DT adventure together! WOW time flies.
ReplyDeleteFun card and perfect for a new teenager!!
Hugs
Sue
