HMFMC #157-Anything But A Card

Anything But A Card

Our challenge this week is brought to you by our dear teamie Natascha!

You must know that I would love this challenge! I made this cute little gift bag with my Silhouette. I did add an extra 'shadow' on the belly band and circle in the center to make it stand out a wee bit more. Isn't this the perfect paper to go with this stamp??? Christmas candy is so happy!  I added a few Martha punched holly pieces and embossed the circle piece for a little added texture. And yes, I parted with a wee bit of my pretty satin cream ribbon too!  I am such a hoarder LOL!

It is always nice to get started early(HA! for me that is) with little holiday gifties. Since I had parts and pieces of paper left over, I made a matching card with my new Sizzix die Fancy Flip It's. It was calling me...The double sided paper combo is so perfect for this die!

Give me candy!!!

I wish it could be Christmas every day. (sentiment by Penny Black and available at Simon Says Stamp-linked below)

  11. Perfect perfect perfect! And my next big splurge is the flip it die. Yes, I can make on the Silhouette, but so quick and easy with the die. I had my first grandbaby born 3 weeks ago, just sold the house, helping with baby while mom goes to PT...complications at birth and building a small cottage to move in....that has taken all my time away from craft time.
