House Mouse and Friends-Liquid Refreshments

Summer is here and what is more refreshing than a nice ice cold glass of lemonade...or some other little umbrella drink of your choice! ??!!! It has been chilly here so far, but we had one freaky day that was in the mid 90's on Saturday. Wish Mr. Weatherman would average out the temps a little better! It was a great day for a cool drink for sure!

House Mouse and Friends Monday Challenge Design Team have been celebrating all week...we reached 1000 Google followers! How cool is that???  In Celebration, I think it would be in your best interest to hop along to all the DT blogs and see if there is blog candy hanging around!

My card today is made by cutting up a stamped image and using part outside and part inside. A great way to stretch your stamps-you don't have to use all of the image!
Here is the second part of the image, waiting inside to greet the recipient.

I used a Silhouette Store cut file named Drink with Umbrella (pretty catch name huh?), I copied it,  duplicated and mirrored the glass, and then welded the tops of the glasses so the card would be a stand alone card. I added the extra elements and then cut up my Meece image and added it to the card. The fun Chill sentiment is also from the Silhouette Store. I doodled on the lemon and the inside and it was done in a jif!

    I love what you do with your Silhouette machine, I've never been that interested in an electronic cutter but boy do you make it hard to resist!!
